The post-credits scene from the first episode of Disney+ Ms. Marvel presents a connection with the years 2021 Spider-Man: No Coming Home.
The scene in question sees Arian Moayed reprising his role as Agent Cleary of the US Department of Damage Control. In the scene, Agent Deever, played by Orange is the new blackby Alysia Reiner, shows Cleary a video of Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel uses her powers at AvengersCon.
Cleary made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in Spider Man: No coming home. This film saw him investigate the involvement of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Battle of London and the death of Quentin Beck/Mysterio. Cleary interviewed numerous Spider-Man allies, including Michelle Jones (Zendaya), Ned Leeds (Jacob Batalon), and May Parker (Marissa Tomei). Apart from his role as Cleary, Moayed has had roles in television series such as Invent Anna and Succession.
As for Reiner, Ms. MarvelThe post-credits scene marks her first appearance in the MCU and she is set to appear in all six episodes of the series. Ahead of the series premiere, a promo for the latest MCU project confirmed his and Moayed’s inclusion in Kamala Khan’s live-action adventure.
Ms. Marvel centers on Kamala Khan, a teenager from Jersey City who gains her own powers. Played by Iman Vellani, Ms. Marvel won’t be Khan’s only appearance in the MCU, as she’s currently set to appear in Wonders, which will see her team up with Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris). Released July 28, 2023, Wonders is directed by Nia DaCosta.
Announced in 2019, Ms. Marvel is the latest Disney+ MCU series. The first Marvel TV show was Wanda Visionwhich was released in 2021. Since then there have been a number of other shows including Hawk Eye, Loki and, more recently, Moon Knight. After Ms. Marvelthe next series scheduled for release is She-Hulk: Lawyerpremiering on August 17. This series will last 9 episodes.
Created by Sana Amanat, G. Willow Wilson, Stephen Wacker, Adrian Alphona and Jamie McKelvie, Khan first appeared in 2013. Captain Marvel #14. In the comics, Khan is an Inhuman whose powers are activated by the Terrigen Mists. His abilities allow him to stretch and modify his limbs. Ms. Marvel introduced a number of changes to his powers, much to the chagrin of many fans.
